Wagyu Program

Buy Back Program Outline :
  • Must be an approved Wagyu bull

​

  • The cow breeds must be approved (No Brahmans, Corrientes, or Longhorns)

​

  • All calves must be sired by a specific Wagyu bloodlines 

​

  • Bull lease is $800 a year per head / $1000 per head for 90 days if needed

​

  • Guaranteed calf buyback- Cattlefax 5 state average will be used plus up to a $0.30 for records such as date of birth or times in digram.

​

  • Calves are required to be aged and sourced (PX will assist in this process)

​

  • Calves must be weaned and preconditioned for at least 45 days prior to selling (PX can provide)

​

  • No hormones or growth promotants

​

  • No antibiotics unless on approved list

​

  • Vaccinations encouraged (Must be FDA approved)

​

  • Producers affidavit must be signed and returned prior to start and selling of calves

​

  • Wagyu sire or dam registration numbers, calving date range, and calf identification details, and herd health records

​

  • Vaccinations records required (From veterinarian or receipts)

Strongly Recommended:
A list of calf identification numbers, birthdates, and any other information that is available. If unable to record individual birthdates, a system of identifying groups of calves by birth month would be the next recommendation. General information regarding the calves recent diet. If available a copy of your nutritionist approved creep feed and mineral program for calves and cows along with TMR records.
